GP CTs today, did the first question on whether the arts make something out of nothing - obviously I vehemently disagreed, haha. It's funny to ask the Science kids which questions they did because you can see how they instantly skipped the first one and the Arts kids loved that one, haha. I guess it's really a testament to how much your education influences your thinking and how much it reinforces your mind. My blue pen was pretty dark and my handwriting was pretty big and one paragraph took one page (x2 of those paragraphs) I hope my marker doesn't mind, hahaha.
Did well for my Richard assignment :) Not A yet, but I've been consistently getting B (B-/B/B+) for all my Lit assignments this year which is just whoa so different from last year! Praise the Lord for even more, better things to come - 2012 is the year of unceasing fruitfulness, and is indeed my best year yet :) And the best part is, all these good things that I've had so far are just a tiny fraction of all the blessings that God is simply waiting to rain down on me - so I am excited ~
SV today went so, so much better than I hoped it would - I was praying that today's devo would remind us of God's love for us, but what I completely didn't expect was a total re-confirmation of our own faith and re-laying of its foundation in our spirits. I think many Christians/ many people think that Christians believe we have to keep confessing our sins, we have to ask for forgiveness, etc etc and that was what was brought up today, but we really just reminded her that we don't have to ask, we just have to claim and declare it because it's already given - no barriers :) I love this verse: He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:32) One of the most comforting and at the same time powerful verses of all time.
Praise the Lord for He is good, and His love endures forevermore.
