25 Aug 2011 entry:
'So much to do, so much time - because little becomes much with Christ Jesus, and He is able to multiply everything sevenfold for our benefit. Five loaves and two fishes for five thousand - with leftovers. The four weeks and two days to promos will be multiplied, multiplied, and multiplied again, and filled with restful increase, and these exams will be the best I've ever had in four years.'
Text convo with Sherry today:
'It shall be well :) the bigger the problem, the easier it is for God. He used 7 loaves to feed 3000 but only 5 loaves and 2 fish to feed 5000. Thank God for a God whose economy is so different from ours :) start to see His constant love and supply of wisdom, favour etc for you bub! Again I say it shall be well :)'
Mom, today:
'This guy from Mozambique went to this place in Africa, and he only brought one loaf of bread with him - and yet he kept dishing the bread out to the locals there. The locals thought he brought a whole truckload of bread because the supply never stopped coming, but in truth, he only brought one loaf of bread.'
If you want to talk about motifs recurring in a Literature text, this is motifs brought to life.
I realise that I am never happier when I'm doing something for Jesus - whether it's making typography attempts of verses to put on Tumblr or making cards for people in North B or anything, really - the sheer thought and action of putting all the words together, adjusting the gradient of the background, planning what to do and spending ages (think Alvin's card) on it is so satisfying, more satisfying than any other feeling in the world.
Studied with Pris today for hours - my neck hurts now, haha. Poring (poring, not pouring; its = its (insert noun here), it's = it is; stationery = pens/ pencils, stationary = not moving, their = their (insert noun here), they're = they are; your = your (insert noun here), you're = you are) over minute text that is the powerpoint slides on themes and characters in Wuthering Heights is quite tiring. Mildliners make it interesting to look at :)
Love how the two of us set our alarms to wake up early today and both went back to sleep, haha. Epic psychic kids for life. Also, Queenie: Wah so pro ah, you become mat until like that so imba sia.
Hahahaha, 'Wong Goh Sim Lim, Khoo! (y)' = Queenie's attempt at stringing our surnames into one sentence.
First time going for Student Venture today - 'Guys, we have a newcomer! Everyone, this is Wan Ting. Wan Ting, this is everyone.' Haha, always good to sing (albeit badly) praise! Especially first thing in the morning. So excited for Word tomorrow, yay :)
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His mercies endure forever :)
