It was during a recording for a live variety show when NYC was sitting on the guest seats, while waiting for the commercial time to be over, Yamada noticed something.
"Chii, ne, there's something... on your face."
He reached out and pointed to a spot somewhere below Yuri's left eye.
"Hmm?"
Yuri looked over at Yamada, giving him a blank look and wiped absentmindedly on his face.
"Iya, kochi." He pointed closer to the spot, leaning closer to Yuri.
"Kochi?" Yuri tried again and almost cleaned it.
Sighing, Yamada stood up and went up close to him. Bending down, he cleaned off that speck of dust with his thumb and whispered softly "kochi yo".
"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!"
Screams erupted from the audience and Yamada blinked as he turned to face them.
Yuri smiled. Yamada has always underestimated his power to influence, always forgetting the effect he has on his fans.
And then, he had an idea. Smirking, Yuri glanced at the excited fans before looking back at Yamada's slightly shocked face.
He was frowning at the audience, seeming confused as to why they squealed.
A second passed and suddenly, Yuri swiftly reached up and placed a kiss on Yamada's cheeks.
"KYAAAAAAAA!!!"
The squeal erupted more loudly than before and Yamada took a step back, one hand clutching his face. He turned to Yuri, confusion written all over his face but all he received was a bright smile.
"Success~"
Helpless, he glanced at Yuma who was sitting behind Yuri and received a shrug in return.
He sat back down on his seat slowly as the floor manager started counting down to the return from the commercials and stared at nothing in particular.
"Eh? What just happened?"
