oooohhh the drama of work, it's great. i recall thinking that it'll be nice to work with a bunch of guys because there won't be drama like at villa? our "shop foreman" doesn't do jack shit, literally just walks in circles and rarely says anything except snark, and doesn't do a good job at anything. the bosses have had it - jim was livid the other day because he only made $10 on the tint that mike did. took him 7 hours (mike makes 11/hr) and he fucked up a lot of tint in the process. it was only a 3-window tint too, on an older truck so no strange shaped windows or anything.
he called in late one day last week (the day i booked off) and don called him back and said to fuck off and stay home.
basically i'm just sitting back and being amused by how pissed grant gets about the laziness - he's just as bad, and refuses to help anyone. i think i should get mike's job (since i'm already the lead, and the sub for mike and am just generally superwoman lol. don said the place would fall apart without me) and then kirk can have mine. we both basically run the show anyways.
but i've decided i want to go back to school in the fall. enough of this -- i want to use my brain. i want something challenging. i gave my boss the heads up that i'm considering going back, and he said good, get the fuck out of this place - you're too bright to work here.
now i just have to figure out what by friday.
