I finally got pralines! Now to mail them out. I got one for myself. Way too sweet. o_O It's like pure sugar. I gave the rest of it to Marty.
The restaurant/store by our apartment is really cute. Marty and I had been wanting to go there for a while now. A little bit touristy but still cute. There's a praline area in the front and a cafe in the back while the bulk of the store sells gifts and cooking stuff. The cafe has the normal Louisiana food; po' boys, gumbo, bread pudding, etc. It was good.
I wouldn't mind going there for lunch more.
