With his phone shut, he walked in their apartment with a tight grip on his mobile phone. He closed the door behind him and listened for any movements in the room, he figured that's where Jaejoong would be. He blinked and heard the springs of a bed move. Jaejoong was inside their bedroom. He sighed and walked that direction, finding Jaejoong laid down on his stomach, his face buried on the striped bed covers, murmuring words. Yunho smiled to that, its been a while since he was able to even talk to Jaejoong. He proceeded and sat next to his body, "Jaejoong-ah?" he touched him on the back, caressing his lower back gently.
Jaejoong moved his head and rested on his cheek, facing Yunho to his left; he pouted, "What?" he replied.
"I'm sorry" Yunho gulped, "for spacing these days...I'm just so caught up with Hyojoo and everything else" he nodded slowly, "I'm sorry I'm not hanging around you and the guys lately...." his eyes wondered off to the side. Jaejoong sighed, "Well....you have a girlfriend now...I guess its just...different now" he gulped and looked at Yunho, "I miss you" he whispered and felt his cheeks burn making him bury his face into the covers again.
Yunho heard those three words and made him smile, "Did you?" he whispered back, bending his knees on the floor so that he and Jaejoong had the same level, he rested his arms on the mattress and shook Jaejoong's arm, "Jaejoong-ah! Did you really miss me?" Jaejoong groaned and made incoherent noise, but Yunho understood.
"Hrrmmmm mmmmmmm mmmm!"
"Aw, come on Jaejoong-ah. I did not"
"Hmmmm hmmmm mmm"
"Okay, I might have forgotten once or twice"
Jaejoong turned to Yunho with a frown, "You. Jung Yunho. Forgot everything! On Monday I didn't take my car and I asked you to pick me up after work-- I had to walk! I hate walking alone at night! Last Saturday! When I asked you like-- A MONTH earlier to come to my kindergarten class to be the visitor of the day, you didn't come either-- face it. Your world's Hyojoo now so don't bother" he finished and turned away from Yunho completely.
Yunho sighed, "Its not like my life's been any easier...I mean, I'm trying so hard to make her happy but all this time she keeps asking about you" he pouted, "I thought that maybe...if...if I made her fall for me, she'd stop mentioning you".
Jaejoong sat up and turned to Yunho with stern eyes, "Then why don't you just break up with her? She's a two-faced geek! She's using you! She's using you to get to me! Doesn't that bother you or do you like her so much that it doesn't?" Jaejoong questioned. Yunho looked down, "I just....I thought I could make her fall for me" he replied with a gulp, "But no luck yet" he shrugged, looking up at Jaejoong he found a tear rolling down Jaejoong's left cheek.
"Jaejoong-ah" his eyebrows came together and as if reflexes, hugged Jaejoong.
"Why are you crying?" he asked.
Jaejoong gulped and sighed, "Because! You're wasting your time! You're hurt because of me! You're-- you're--you're so stupid! Why would you let a girl play with you like that?!" Yunho sighed and patted Jaejoong back gently, he thought Jaejoong would say something else.
"Cause I have feelings for her...I like her"
Jaejoong gulped, pursed his lips together and held onto Yunho's arms, pushing him away. They were facing each other now, Jaejoong's eyes teary and focused on Yunho.
"But I love you" he gulped and pulled Yunho closer, "...as...a friend" he gulped and nodded, "And...I care about you" he bit his lower lip. Cursing at himself mentally, why did he have to say the last part?
Yunho blinked, "I guess you are right...." he sighed and pouted, "I'm sorry for making you worry...I'll think it over, Jaejoong-ah"
