...have been good......?

Its like when your life is finally getting back to normal and you don't really realize it until a few days later. This week was a little crazy being that it was the first week of classes but I had to skip one class and leave early on another because I didn't put in my new availablity on time at work and I couldn't find anyone to cover the shifts. Oh well, it was my fault.

Tuesday was exhausting. Worked from 9:45-12:00 and I was able to get out early to go to my 1 o clock class, it was Beginning Book Binding. I am so pumped for this class, we learned 2 book structures (with 3 sub-book structures) in the first day. That went until about 5 and I went and got my UPass which took about 2 minutes and killed time on the internet. 6 o clock I had my Photo Seminar class and told my teacher about this weird idea I have for this class and he really liked it so that was really nice. Unfortunity that class went until 10 so I didn't really get home until 11.

Wednesday was loafing around until I had to work. Thursday I had a morning class that got out at 10:20 then my next class 3:30, so I went and got a burrito, found a random candy store in the music mart on DePauls south loop campus that sold bananna and strawberry gummy rings. They were amazing. Stumbled down to the Harold Washington Library to use their Wifi then headed to the Paper Source. I F'in love that place. I spent like $25 on paper. Then I came back downtown for my 3:30.

Friday I had nothing to do so I got my bike fixed at a shop down the street. I was so happy to have it fixed because it was quite possibly the most amazing winter day. It was like 40 degrees outside, perfect bike riding weather. I rode downtown, met up with Kimi for a little bit then called up Donna for a planned trip to Cereality but we didn't end up going and ever since I've been having a mad craving for oatmeal. Then I went to the Book and Paper Center and did some research on various techniques. I decided to take the lakeshore path home because it was so nice. It was weird because everything was icy but I enjoyed it. Then I called Maggie and had quite possibly the weirdest phone conversation in my life. True story. Then I lost my cell phone. Figured out that you can't get from the Lake Shore Path to anywhere on the blue line and ended up in a really scary area. I eventually found my way back at 5:30 after 3 hours of being lost sorta and I got an email when I got home saying that someone called my mom saying they found my cell phone. This email was accompanied by a lecture on how I need to carry a purse when I ride my bike. I explained to her that a purse would get in the way and made a suggestion as to what she could get me for my birthday, being a Chrome Messanger Bag. After much debate she agreed. So I went and got my phone from the person who found it and came home. Tried to have people over but that didn't end up happening so Kyle and I ate pizza and watched Tv on DVD and called it a day.

Saturday, I was supposed to go to the suburbs but I missed the train I was going to take and my mom made such a big deal about me having too much homework to make the trip so I just stayed here. I ended up going to Wicker Park with Kyle to look some cheap used vinyl for a project I have in mind. I got a 7" single of Michael Jackson's "Bad", a 12" of the soundtrack to Raiders of the Lost Ark, the soundtrack to Children of a Lesser God, and one that reminded me of this Belle and Sebastian cover

We ended up going for this huge adventure to find him a book bag. I stopped into a place that had the Chrome logo in the window and left with a bag.

2-3 hours go by and stores were closed so grocery shopping insued where I got a 12 pack of soda, 5 pack of ramen, 2 8 packs of reeses peanut butter cups, 2 cans of corn... which all fit into my new bag, including all the soda as well as 2 cans of kyle's tomato soup and 3 boxes of mac and cheese. And it wasn't even that heavy. Went home, got a call from Kimi and then I rode over to her house with all my book making supplies (in my bag, including my laptop) and stayed there until about 3:30 am then we went to the Hollywood Dinner that was strangely very busy... Then I came home, worked on a book until 5:30 and then went to bed.

I really wish my life was like this weekend but on a constant basis.
