NaNo Character Thing

Name: Blair Hunter aka Blair Yula Cacci
Age: 15
Height: 155cm
Eye color: Icy / crystal blue (sometimes behind glasses that are for show only)
Physical appearance: She has jet black mid-back length hair with straight fringe.
Strange or unique physical attributes: She tries to blend in, to remain in the background. But the first thing anybody notices about Blair is her very dark hair, and upon closer look, her blue eyes that look like fiercely burning fire. A set of three lines of birthmark on her chest that looks like her skin was ripped by a three-clawed creature.
Favorite clothing style/outfit: Mostly dark coloured (blacks, greys); leather jacket on top of graphic t-shirt of creatures like dragons and phoenixes, tattered (black) jeans, and combat boots.
Where does he or she live? What is it like there? She lives in a small orphanage of twenty kids where she was abandoned when she was just a baby. Life at Oliver Renault Home is peaceful and secure and Mrs. Camilla Page (neé Renault) takes care of them as if they were her own.
Defining gestures/movements (i.e., curling his or her lip when he or she speaks, always keeping his or her eyes on the ground, etc.): Resting bitch face. Normally a disinterested face unless excited or annoyed, then it becomes are-you-touched-in-the-head you-are-so-thick-please-go-away face. Unconsciously, she runs her thumbs over the tips of her fingers. Oops, smoke.
Things about his or her appearance he or she would most like to change: Nothing. Well, it wouldn't harm to be a couple of centimetres taller. :\
Speaking style (fast, talkative, monotone, etc.): She is usually polite to strangers but when speaking to people she regularly comes across with, she's cryptic (double-entendres, puns) and/or sarcastic.
Pet peeves: People who talk too much or don't know when to shut up, excitable people, dense people, people. Also, laundry.
Fondest memory: First time she set a kindergarten classmate's bully's pants something on fire.
Hobbies/interests: Setting fire to stuff. Listening to music, reading, drawing.
Special skills/abilities: Wielding fire, falling asleep just about anywhere, tuning out stupid.
Insecurities: Sometimes it bothers her that her family at the orphanage and the couple of friends she has doesn't know what she is and she is capable of.
Quirks/eccentricities: She likes bubbles. She collects glow in the dark things and sticks them to the walls and ceiling and every available surface in her room.
Temperament (easygoing, easily angered, etc.): When left alone, she looks pretty harmless, sitting in a corner, ears plugged in, reading or doodling. With friends, she's relaxed and cheery but would withdraw to recharge. With other people, she can be irritable (hint: don't be stupid around her, for the love of gods) but has a long fuse, though she would rather visualise various ways a dumb conversation would have gone than expend energy for a retort that would probably just go over their heads.
Negative traits: Refer to above.
Things that upset him or her: People close to her being troubled or hurt.
Things that embarrass him or her: Doing anything she's not good at in front of a lot of people.
This character is highly opinionated about: Family. Honour. Equality.
Any phobias? WouldN'T YOU LIKE TO KNOW? Ha ha hahaha ha. Thunderstorm. ;_;
Things that make him or her happy: Finishing a new (good) book, meal times at ORH.
Family (describe): The Home's Matron, Camilla, is strict but very compassionate. Along with five other adults (two of whom were orphans of ORH, too), she takes care of twenty kids all under the age of eighteen. The oldest charge, Melissa, is seventeen and is due to leave the Home once she graduates high school, while the youngest, Sammy, just turned two. It's usually noisy and every now and then there would be a thud or bam and next come the yelling or crying. Camilla is quick to chastise but she is equally quick to give affection.
Deepest, darkest secret: Well, she's a fire wielder.
Reason he or she kept this secret for so long: She doesn't wanna be taken from the Home and locked in some padded room somewhere, thank you very much.
Other people’s opinions of this character (What do people like about this character? What do they dislike about this character?): Generally likable unless provoked. Could use toning down of sarcasm. No straight answers unless the other person is about to literally pull their hair out in frustration.
Favorite bands/songs/type of music: Mainly depends on her mood. She listens to just about any type of music except those with unnecessarily offensive lyrics.
Favorite movies: Nothing in particular, but she likes fantasy. Have dragons and she's sold.
Favorite TV shows: She doesn't watch TV much unless she's baby-sitting her younger 'siblings.' Children's shows aren't that bad.
Favorite books: She'll read any and all, but, like in movies, she prefers fantasy.
Favorite foods: Scrambled eggs, corn, barbecue.
Favorite sports/sports teams: The away team. >P
Political views: Cannot be bothered.
Religion/philosophy of life: Don't harm others unless it's a matter of life and death... she was five when she set her classmate's pants on fire, okay. She's not done it intentionally ever again! Okay, so, she's set off the sprinklers at school once or twice or more to escape some classes but surely no one can blame her. Wearing wet clothes is way better than having a shriveled brain.
Physical health: Okay-ish. It's against her principles to do any physical activity unless completely necessary but she likes taking walks so she's not that frail.
Dream vacation: Every summer, Camilla takes them to their family rest house. The cabin itself is smaller than the Home and some of them have to share rooms but they (the other kids) spend all day running around and swimming in the lake and at night they have barbecue and camp fires and they tell ghost stories and make the younger ones cry.
Description of his or her house: ORH is a three-storey building. On the first level is Camilla's office and quarters, the dining hall, library and study room. Not all the bedrooms are occupied so some on the third floor are used for storage; some of the younger children also room with the caretakers or the older kids. There's a spacious backyard where the more active boys and girls can play.
Description of his or her bedroom: Bed, desk, desk lamp (note to Blair: bulb needs replacing), books and glow in the dark things everywhere. Also, empty containers of bubble solution.
Any pets? Camilla had agreed to get a cat before but then they found out that one of the kids had an allergy. ):
Best thing that has ever happened to this character: Finding out she can wield fire (and eventually discovering other people like her).
Worst thing that has ever happened to this character: Nothing that major but it's natural to wanna know your real family, yeah? (She will learn about them, in time.)
Superstitions: She's not particularly superstitious but when it's raining she's convinced that nobody should go outside especially to go to school. >\
Three words to describe this character: Lost Dragonheart princess. Wut. So I like some tropes and clichés. ;P
If a song played every time this character walked into the room, what song would it be? Radioactive by Imagine Dragons or My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up) by Fall Out BoySource: [X]
