Hokay... got a date lined up in a couple weeks. Dunno if it qualifies as my first or second, considering the first time we were with Greg and Kim and were ostensibly just hanging out, but I'm gonna call it my first. I know, it's been a while since our last outing... but I still cite physical distance and crazy work schedules as my excuse for that.
In any event, it's been about ten years since my last real date... and considering how big a cock-up that was, I don't think I should call upon previous experience to tell me what to do this time. Should be interesting, at any rate!
Don't worry... I'm not gonna chicken out, at least. I resolved to see this through with my last post. I may be intimidated and awkward and have no idea what to do, but I'm NOT gonna back down.
Just wish my body could decide whether it wants to be sick or not. I've had a sore throat for the past two or three days, a slight headache, and some minor fatigue, but nothing more severe than that. Oh well, I got two weeks to get over it.
