My Entries For Drmckay_itest Challenge #37
Placed third with the snowflakey one. Now I'm feeling guilty about wanting to take a break from this. But I really need some time of not feeling like I should produce something for the fandom or should be practising for producing something for the fandom ( or another fandom ). Creativity has become all about effort and guilt, and none about pleasure. I've been forcing myself to write in periods this year and last, with the eventual goal of producing something publishable, but aside from one little 1200-word ficlet, it hasn't resulted in anything useable. In the beginning I loved making icons, having found a new medium and a new skill I didn't know I had. But lately I've been running out of inspiration and started finding it a chore. I need to... stop generating negative emotions.
