14And it is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light;
As I am maturing in Christ Jesus, from becoming a child of God, to a daughter of God, I know
most of the schemes and tricks of the devil. Also in God's word he tells us how
our enemy attacks. Paul tells us that he can transform himself, or in the amplified
bible he masquerades as an angel of light. We can probably even use the word
counterfiet. Whatever God offers to us, the devil tries to pass it on as well. But what
comes from God is real, its true, and what comes from our enemy/devil is fake and false.
God gives us desire, godly desires, and I believe the devil can pass on fake desires, or
otherwise known as lust.
This came to me today because I declare and decree that I will no longer accept
anything that counterfeit and not from God. And that God may open my eyes (spiritual eyes)
to be aware of anything that is counterfeit or contray to His will and word.
As followers and sons and daughters of God, we need to be aware of that. Our main
purpose is not that battle, our main purpose is to focus on God and love Him with all
of our heart, soul, strength and mind. That battle is their and on going, but we already
have the victory, its done! But God will show us, as we walk in obedience and
in trust of God, He will show us the schemes and traps/snares the devil
tries to throw at us. So as not fall into it and get caught up in it.
I know this is fact and truth because He has shown me. Albeit I have not always listened,
and was stubborn. Thanks to God that I got out of it on time before things got worse,
and NOW I know better. I BETTER know better! lol I know better than to give the devil
a foot hold. NO MORE! So, let us hold on to the word. Don't let go, and that's it.
I had written a little bit more about this topic in my journal (moleskine/paper) but
I left it at home. Anyway, today has been great, and this weekend is going to be great
and that's it. Yes, it gets stressful sometimes, but I am going to let go of "me" and
and just hold on to God, and deny myself. Yea. :-) GOOOOOOOOOOD stuff.
