Meeting Europeans.
Not that it was a regular thing, but the time I spent in Germany with Gordon, Jennifer, and Edo was probably the most enjoyable time of my career so far. Germans can be hilarious - especially the ones who don't mind making fun of their obsessive-compulsive precision and attention to detail. And the Swedes - they'll have you doubled over from laughing so hard over something as silly as the idea of shooting icebergs for a living...
I got in touch with one of the guys today - he's actually a former Brit, transplanted in Germany. His name is York, but he has earned the nickname of "Yorkie." Turns out the nickname actually has a pretty cute meaning behind it, too.
