An Update
So Thanksgiving wasn't as bad as I predicted. I got to spend some quality time with Lilybug as well as my dad and the rest of the Chang clan. They were pretty welcoming of Eli after all. Well, except for Liz. Apparently baby hormones have turned this sweet woman into a banshee. Sorry Tommy, but I say that with love.
It was nice to see a few folks from Glee. Finn, I hope you and Burt liked the pastries. Mercedes, tell your dad thanks again for cooking dinner for us. I'd insert a joke about having a thing for black men who can cook here, but I don't want her to hurt me. (I really am thankful to have Mercedes and Kurt back in my life. Things just weren't the same without my divas.)
And then there was that whole Paddy's expedition that turned into a zombie movie marathon with Mike's friend Rowan. While I didn't think having grilled cheese and pie while watching zombie guts fly across the screen was advisable, it worked out.
This was the first time I was home for a holiday in years, and I'm glad I got to share it with Eli. It was fun.
As odd as that sounds. I hope he had a good time too.
Anyways, I guess I'll be seeing you in Christmastime, Lima.
