They are making my butt itch again
This year I got volunteered to head up our participation in the St. Joe's Christmas Project. I collected money, I did all the shopping, I wrapped all the gifts. The hardest thing anyone else did was write a check.
I have been wrapping gifts since 8:30 this morning...alone. Now, I learned to wrap gifts while working for Mervyn's and I do a damn good job if I do say so myself. Cathy has the nerve to suggest that I was milking the gift wrapping so that it would take longer than it should. No I was not milking the wrapping to waste time. I was making an effort to do the best job I can. I do not do slap and tape gift wrap jobs and just because this is a charity does not mean these people deserve less than my best effort.
Now I know that she was most likely just busting my chops but my feet hurt too bad for me to have a sense of humor about this right now.
