not much going on lately. not much to update:
1. I'm super bored right now, because I injured my right calf muscles. The area is currently very sore and being iced. No cardio for at least a week. Total bummer.
2. I am a big proponent for health care reform. I hate that the most apathetic group on this issue is people my age, and therefore I will try to get everyone I know in the know on the issue the best I can. Health care reform isn't a partisan issue; it's an issue that does or will affect everyone at some point in their lives. American health care is bureaucratic and run by corporate giants who are only interested in profits. It's awful; creating a public option isn't socialist, come on people. If you don't know, go learn. We have the internet, it's not that difficult. The Republicans succeeded in curtailing Clinton's plan in the 90s, and I'll be damned if they do the same to Obama's plan. They are only interested in spreading lies, fear, and misinformation to ensure Obama's failure in this venture. Don't believe the bullshit, I beg of you.
3. I'm very sad to hear of Ted Kennedy's passing. Definitely a progressive individual, who did great things for our country, despite his oftentimes hectic personal life.
4. I'm seriously considering getting an MBA. I'm not sure what I want my career to be, but I believe graduate school to be a part of my future. I can work it out so that, as long as I stay with Nationwide, I can get them to pay for most, if not all of the cost. That would be awesome.
That's about all. I need to see more people who read this more often. Take care now, bye bye then.
