Did THE most spectacular fall on my back at karate, it was a definite you've been framed moment.
Picture the scene, 20 karate peeps, resplendent in their pure white Gi's, arranged in a grid. All are moving in unison, through a series of punches and kicks, their voices ringing at the end of each move. Black belt Paul in the middle of the grid, the instruction to perform a spin kick is given. All spin backwards on the left foot, the right foot rises and as they turn to face the front of the dojo it is thrust out, hard and fast.
KIAI! goes the class.
BOOOM! goes the floor as paul's spine hits it from a great height.
silence. . . . . . .
the Sensei speaks. "you alright paul?"

"yeah fine." . . . . . . .
