After an all-nighter on Sunday typing in Rick's proofreading changes, I finished my thesis early Monday morning, drove to the Mason Hall computing site to print 'er out complete with color maps and a color video capture image of Lance Loud sashaying on his bicycle (I somehow didn't get a parking ticket for staying 'til 8:20), dropped the heaps of paper off to Kinko's to get bound, grabbed ham and eggs at the Fleetwood, dawdle shopped until 10:30 when the binding was done, stopped by the Library to tell them I'd be out sick, turned in four copies (134 pages each) to the History Department (including one for the Bentley Historical Library), then home to sleep, sleep, sleep.
Too much other stuffs to do to feel relief, glee, or any sort of basking, but it is done. If the next three weeks go OK, I'll soon be the first college graduate in my family.
Train to Chicago on Thursday immediately following my Stats exam. Figure out which school, maybe get a sense of where to live during the week next year (suggestions
upsidedownblue or any other Chicago folk?), and bop around with pal Larry. Rick is joining me for Friday and Saturday nights.
Homestretch.
