What a Great Day
Despite my earlier postings today that dealt with the topics of deathclocks and hurting teeth, in retrospect I think I had a pretty good day. Here's why:
1) My brother and I completed filming our twelfth installment of our "retarded genius" movie series, entitled "Saving Private Brian 10% on His Heating Bill".
2) I both gained and lost 110 lbs today during the filming of said movie, where, in lieu of my much-sought-after and much-ballyhooed fat suit, I wore some extra pillows in the belly and ass. I've got ghetto booty, I've got ghetto booty...*SINGS*
3) The snow is being washed away, and none too soon. It's getting tough to drive in the slippery slush. This Vancouverite was starting to miss the rain. I'm only happy when it rains, after all.
4) Jamie Foxx won a Golden Globe tonight for his part in "Ray". I really like this guy now - I loved him in "Collateral" and want to see "Ray" even more now. I still remember the day (early 90s) when he had a show on FOX...at least I think it was FOX...he was a black guy that wasn't Bill Cosby at the time so I'm assuming it was on FOX...and look how far he's come now. A good guy, too.
5) I had the raddest sub sandwich for lunch today. After starving myself lately, packing a good, quality amount of subbage into your system is always a treat. (Oh, by the by, the "subs" at McDonalds are overrated; you still can't beat Subway.)
The most satisfying part of the day, however, was finally hearing from my friend whom I haven't heard from in a week. I noticed that some delightful chica had infiltrated my LiveJournal and left quite a few comments in regards to my entries; it was wonderful to know that she (and her modem) were alive and well. Yes, I know it was only a week and I probably sound silly, but man, it just really brightened my day. *ABRAZO PARA SENORITA* :)
Now I just need her to start teaching me some spanish lessons, as soon as she teaches her little pirahna and vampire, Ricardo, to stop biting so much! (Maybe it's just jealousy too. Hehe.)
You know who you are, Prof.! You need to get your MSN back so we can work on our lessons again!
Another crazy side note: when I first wrote this message, I was listening to the same song she was listening to when writing her LJ entry earlier this evening. Is that creepy or what? :)
