So my brother was watching a DVR recording of School for Scoundrels, a movie about a young man that needs to learn to be assertive and less shy with the opposite sex. Early on in the movie, the main character (whose name doesn't matter, we'll just refer to him as "Napoleon") enrolls in a top-secret class geared towards love and happiness. At least on a night-by-night basis. The following are the rules he was set to follow:
FROM THE BAR TO YOUR BED
Be dangerous, it's cool
No compliments, *ever*
Always get the girl alone
Wherever you are, the place is lame!
Relate to her
Lie, lie, and lie some more
Now I know it's just a movie but I think that, for better or worse, there is some truth to some of this stuff here. Not that I'd follow it because I try to be a stand-up guy and all, but - well, has anyone actually fallen for stuff like this? The one that's especially odd is the one about no compliments - EVER.
Gosh!
funny,
