I have a question for anyone that knows anything technical about computers...
What EXACTLY is an IP address and what does it mean, and is it/how is it possible that multiple people would have a similar address, apart from using the same computer?
I may potentially need it for a story I'm working on, and I need to make sure I get these facts straight before I start forming a plot.
