The Kat came back, the very next...month?
Yay! Kat's finally back in Vancouver and I have visual and physical proof of it! I picked her up at the hospital yesterday and we hung out downtown.
I wanted to go to her house in Ladner or back to my house to visit the family (finally), but neither happened - she's yet to have the chance to unpack her stuff after moving, and we wouldn't have had much time to stop by the house to really make the long drive necessary.
What we did end up doing was going to the movies in Metrotown - and saw a moderately gory installment of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre - and then spent a hour looking for a decent place to eat. After that, it was just snuggle-in-the-car time, which was quite cozy with the rainstorm that was going on outside at the time.
We now have a framed photo of ourselves together, too. Kat's cousin, Liz, did it for us and it's now decorating my room. Thank you Liz!
Anyway, Kat's back in the hospital today and had a successful shoulder surgery, and will be released tomorrow sometime. Things are looking good in the land of Tim right now.
