Again...
Today I signed up for my first college course in 16 or so years.
By gosh, I'm GOING to get a real degree if it kills me. :-)
I ended up having to contact my high school and get my transcript, so I could sign up for the math class I wanted...
I also needed to get the transcript from my first (mostly failed) attempt at college. Of course, most of the classes I took back in 1993/94 aren't any good for the AAS:Business degree I'm aiming for this go-round... but some of them are. (And a couple of the not-good ones may translate into the needed "electives".)
I'm planning on taking most, if not all, of the classes online. But, some may end up having to be evening classes, depending on what they are.
Summer'10: Bus101 - Intro to Business
Fall'10: Math-120 & Spanish-111
One of the really super-awesome things is that my job will pay up to $2,000 a year for my degree.
Woot!
This means it'll pay for around 9 classes a year. And, since I probably won't take more than 2 classes a semester (I am a working stiff, after all), I should be able to get reimbursed for everything!
