and so this is livejournal....i guess i'll make my first entry about this online madness! With friendster, myspace, livejournal, and facebook becoming popular household names, it makes me wonder how one can possibly keep up with maintaining accounts from each of them. Of course, you can always just stick to your favourite one but for me, i find all my friends dispersed between them. In order to keep up with my friends, i gotta log onto 4 different sites! That's crazy! Well i guess it all depends on what your online status...are you a blog whore? well these's lj...like meeting lots of aquaintences? then there's friendster! but the ultimate question here is: what ever happend to the super site that accomplished all what these sites do and more?! that's right! i'm talking about the infamous ASIANAVENUE.

If you look back at it now, you think, oh that's for kids! but think about it...Asianavenue did what all these sites do and more! it was a hell a lot easier to log onto one site where you can find 99% of your friends. i mean, it was a way of keeing up with friends without really doing so! Everyone always constantly posted up about how their day went, people could comment on your page's content via the guestbook, you can post pictures, play music, send notes it was endless...not to mention the flexibility AA brought for people to exhibit their artistic abilities through HTML! In case you didn't notice, this is exactly what all 4 sites achieve, only separately! If that is so, then why'd everybody leave?! that's what boggles my mind!! why would people prefer to stick to 4 different sites than 1 site that has it all?! My guess is that AA layed down so many restrictions over such little time! they took out music, videos, some html codes and right-clicking! luckily there was AA_Decoder to fix that problem! LOL but yeah, i guess it was that and everyone started copying everyone in society's objective to be individual and unique! ...how ironic? someone tell me how that works!!

AA brought good times in my life! i'd be walking downtown and be like: hey! i know that guy...isn't he
g-o-o-f-y?! (even though of course, you didn't really know KNOW jonel lol)!
AA is definately up there in my book! friendster's tryin to copy AA and i'm not so much a myspace or facebook person...we'll see how this livejournal thing works out for me....
