meh / yay paris
Back from ol' Paris!
Had an amazing time, did all the usual sights of Paris. The highlight was most definitely The Orangerie Museum where we saw two rooms with paintings by Monet covering the walls (SO beautiful) and original pieces by Picasso, Matisse and Derain amongst others. Just amazing!
I'd update more but I'm far too tired. Been up since 5.30am now, and there's a time different so to me its 9.40pm now.. Driving back from Doncaster after being up from 5.30am was interesting..
Should really go to sleep now. Tom was supposed to be coming round but has got held up making sumer hugeass banner for the protest in Manchester on the 23rd so now isn't gonna be done for ages, if at all, and by the time he's done I'll probably be asleep (he was supposed to be round at 7pm but called me at 7 to say he'd be another 3 hours or so..) . Meh, I really wanted to see him cause otherwise I won't until Monday. It annoys me too 'cause I could have gone home this evening but didn't because he was supposed to be coming round.
Not sure if I've got a right to be pissed off about that or not. He can't help the banner thing taking so much longer than he anticipated, but it's still fucked up my Friday evening. Exhaustion is clouding my judgement though, so I don't know.
I really should just sleep and see him Monday. I definitely should do that.
