UB is over, and so is my numbering of days
In case you didn't notice, the reason I was numbering my days was to keep track of how long Upward Bound had been going on. Now that it's over, I'm no longer counting anything, so the numbers go.
So I made it to Madison safely after UB. I don't have a lot of plans right now. I'm at Mike's tonight and I'll either be here tomorrow or I'll head to my dad's place to hang out. I gave Carrie Weis a call to see if I could come visit her this week. (She's an old friend from High School and the reason I would visit her is to see her at Six Flags where she works.)
Highlights from the time since I left UB include: getting to see Mike, getting a call from Kirsten (which was unexpected but WONDERFUL), and making to Madison safely from Decorah. I had some doubt since I didn't get much sleep the night before I left (for whatever reason after I was up so late partying I couldn't get to sleep due to people cleaning at odd hours in the dorm).
Anyway if Kirsten is reading I enjoyed your call and look forward to talking to you again, even if it's about food.
