Day 12 Weekend Package Begins
So instead of getting time off over the weekend, we get to plan and take the students on weekend packages. Now weekend packages can be whatever we want them to be. This doesn't change the fact that there are a bunch of students with you most of the time.
Today my group did an on campus scavenger hunt, walked to the Whippy Dip, played "Kill the Rabbit", dinner, and went to Connie's house to play murder. 22 people is too many to play murder. By a lot. It didn't help that over half of the students were new to the game. The first game wasn't too bad though the murderer made it evident to me after the first meeting who she was. The staff didn't play the first game so it didn't matter that I knew who it was.
Tomorrow we are going to play board games and video games and watch a movie.
The first weekend is always hard. I like not having to be around everyone (like we usually are during the week), but I just want to be spending time with my friends. I did get to hang out with Dave a little this morning but I only really got to see a few people at meals and we were all pretty rushed.
Anyway tomorrow evening should be nice and relaxing. That's about all I feel like writing right now.
