Today is/was my birthday. I briefly considered that once or twice this previous week but somehow it didn't click in until I saw the date on the company's time clock and realized, yep this is it. I got some cloths from random family members. A sweet chinese decorated short sword from my brother and a friend from work said she meant to bring in a birthday cake today but forgot so she will bring it in tomorrow. It was also suggested at work that not take off Friday. That probably means some people there are going to give me a happy birthday potluck at work. Thats nice. Of course most Fridays are potlucks celebrating something or other. If they can't figure out an occasion they would probably be happy to have a 'because its friday' potluck.. Still, this means I don't have to bring anything this time. Good think I like the potlucks too. All in all, a nice average 'no sweat no worries' birthday. 36 now by the way.
