With the Fist of Night Closing the Palm of Day

Hey, Hello, Greetings, Salutations, I'm back! Yes, after some struggling with certain internet connections, I have finally returned. Now I bet you're wondering what has been happening to me for the past month. Well, you're probably not, but I'm gonna tell you anyway. I can say that I've had an awesome weekend after every week of April. Starting off with weekend number one, I had solo/ensemble contest for choir. I can say that turned out rather well. Weekend number two was even better. We had our senior trip and we headed up to the Minneapolis region, hooray! We went and saw the Lion King at the Orpheum Theatre and later everyone else went to a Twin's game. Since that didn't suit my fancy, I decided to go see Resist Butch! at Improv a Go Go on my own. After that, I met up with chaoticdreamer7  and darklovegirl18 at Pandora's Cup. I then got a ride back to the hotel where the rest of the seniors were staying. In the process, Brooke was able to meet up with some of her Iowa peoples. Great to see people happy:) Weekend number three, I did none other but go to Rocky Horror Picture Show and meet up with some of my favorite people ever! Just when I thought my weekends couldn't get any better, I met up with Puppet Troupe type people of RenFest on weekend number four. I got to see the almighty Puppet Master theseamster and the rest of the crew. We had a fun time playin' bocce and salad bowl. That night we went to Pizza Hut and had a blast just like old times. A night like that made me feel as if I was ready to get hitched up in my tights the next morning and entertain. Yes it's true, I miss fest, but it shant be too long now:) Moving on to the fifth and final weekend, twas the weekend of prom. No, I didn't go to prom, but I did attend after prom because I had to put on an entertainment show with one of my best buds. Now to finally move on.

This is not all I've been busy with, let me assure you. I've also been a part of the community play here in Spirit Lake. The play was called "Wit" and it's a drama about someone undergoing chemotherapy. That was also during the past two weekends. We were supposed to perform in Spencer this weekend but it was cancelled because there weren't enough presale tickets sold. Oh well, you win some you lose some. Our cast party was last Saturday night after the show. I got to see some people that I probably won't see anymore. I can't say that I'll miss the director, but I'll miss the others. Which reminds me, I gotta add someone to my LiveJournal. I'll get right on that when I'm done ranting and raving:)

Now we can get back to other non-busy type things. I went out and bought Phantom of the Opera on DVD last Tuesday, hooray! I don't know, I guess some people aren't all for it after seeing the actual play and all, but I love that movie! I'm just about done with school thank god. Hopefully that'll lead into a summer full of fun and excitement, but we can't expect too much living down here in Spirit Lake, IA. Oh well, we'll just have to see how it goes. Now I suppose I gotta sign off with a classic quote and a video for all to see. And one more thing, if you made it through reading all of this, you are a true trooper, or just someone that has nothing better to do with their time. Either way, oh well. So remember, humor is just another defense against the universe. Here’s your clip, and believe me, this video makes me laugh every time. Since I've screwed up the first thousand times, just copy this link shown here. http://www.funpic.hu/swf/numanuma.html
