Tony award-winning Urinetown: The Musical mocks traditional musical theatre with its unconventional plot and satirical resonance to established Broadway hits. Urinetown takes place in a small town where authorities have banned the use of individual lavatories because of a twenty-year drought. A corrupt capitalist company takes over the task of regulating the public facilities with such an inflated fee that the poor cannot afford the ongoing necessity. A revolt ensues with hopes of creating a world where the freedom to urinate reigns.
Ticket reservations can be made beginning two weeks prior to opening night. For reservations or other information, call 612 330-1257.
