Ok, so I'm back in the updating seat. I am finally back online with my own computer, and this means I'll be able to post and rant as I please. So sit back, relax, have a cupcake.
What's going on with the schoolness? I have officially begun my senior year of college. And as I've said before, I WILL be graduating on time. But I also mentioned last time that I'll have to take an extra course next summer to graduate. This is no longer true. A part of the Augsburg Curriculum is doing a random internship that is connected, somehow, to your major. I was lucky enough to use Festival as my internship. And not only was it my internship, but I'm also getting academic credit for it! All I have to do at this point is write a 10-page reflection paper on Festival. Good news? Yes.
What's going on with the rockyness? I made my triumphant return last night. I had to take some time off from rocky due to fest and whatnot. There were a couple slip ups made on my part, but, overall, I think it went well. The only "fuck" moment I had last night was when I realized I left my juggling balls at the theatre. Unfortunately, I won't be able to perform any of the Halloween shows this year. I was cast in the Augsburg production of... wait, new subject.
What's going on with the theatreness? I have been cast in the Augsburg main-stage production of Eurydice. It's another take on the old greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. What role did I get? I will be playing the Lord of the Underworld. How exciting is that? Very. I will be posting more information on performance dates and such at a later time.
What's going on with the living situationness? Me and the roomie have officially moved out of the old place and moved into a new and exciting new place. Yes, that make perfect sense.. Anyway, yeah, I don't remember how he put it, but lets just say we live on the attic level of a Victorian mansion. We have a ridiculous amount of space for the price we're paying. My room is definitely much bigger. It just has a slanted wall, so I didn't know for sure at first. We're still just trying to get situated at this point. Good news again? Definitely.
What's going on with the festivalness? I'll tell you at another time.
