When I grow up, I want to be a lot of things. But above all else, I want to be happy.
I know that I've always had a strong interest in theatre since my last years of high school. Since then, I've always wondered what I wanted to do with theatre. Along with theatre, there are many other things I would like to do with my life. So I think I figured out what I should do education-wise.
I am currently attending Augsburg right now and I am officially a Junior this semester(I was a Sophomore last semester because I was a few credits behind). I have already decided that I'm gonna finish up my bachelor's degree in theatre here at Augsburg. Until I graduate, I'm more than likely gonna stick with restaurant-type jobs. Once I have my degree, I'd like to go to the MN School of Bartending. It doesn't cost much, and I'd be able to finish the hours in no time. If things go according to plan, I would like to take a slight break from education and just work as a bartender for a while as I begin to pay off my student loans. Eventually, I would like to go back to school for Massage Therapy at Northwestern Health Sciences University. I've had a strong interest in massage therapy since high school and they've been sending me information ever since. Even working as a massage therapist, I would still be auditioning for anything involving theatre here in the Twin Cities.
These are just a few short-term plans. I still have many other things I'd like to do with my life, but this is definitely a good start. Do something that makes you happy. I know I've got plans to do so.
