Oh yeah, I have a LiveJournal

So it's been exactly three months since a real update. Plus, I'm avoiding writing a paper at the moment. So this should be fun.

Let's start off with the fact that I'm updating from another location at this point. I have been rooming with
theseamster since the middle of August. This is the first roommate I have ever had, so it should be interesting.

Next comes education. I am now attending college at Augsburg. I'm not taking anything all that exciting this semester, but I would say that the one class I look forward to going to is my sign language course. I'm required to take a foreign language class but I didn't feel like taking Spanish like I did all four years in high school. I wanted to start with something new. And this class also does wonders for your acting skills. So far I'm not completely impressed with the theatre department. I now realize that I was spoiled with the theatre they had at Normandale. But we'll see how things turn out.

Job status. Unfortunately, I am still unemployed at this point. I've put in a few applications here and there but so far nothing. I really want to get back to working in a kitchen again. After Cub Foods I told myself that I'm never working in a grocery store again. Or anything with that big of a chain. I don't know, maybe I should go for some other kind of job. Is there anything exciting in the Grand/Lexington area of St. Paul? I'm still new here.

I had a decent run out at festival this year. I know I haven't been able to update anything about it. But I suppose now is a good time. I would have to say that the puppets had an amazingly smooth run. This is pretty much because the entertainment directors left us alone. We supposedly had a stage manager at one point. But she disappeared and ceased to exist. And no, I didn't have anything to do with it... this time. I wasn't able to get in a whole lot of street entertainment for myself this year mainly because I was the only one in charge of puppets this time around. But I did, however, create a show for myself towards the end of the day about the third weekend in. It started off as a show of terrible ideas where I would see how many ways I can stack benches and then put myself on a balance board on top of that and, of course, begin to juggle. It then evolved into a show on the Bear Stage where I would combine magic, juggling, balance, and other stupid dangerous feats for the entertainment of the audience. This was a great start for me to get ideas going for a real stage act.

I suppose I should wrap it up for now. The video I'll be posting this time around is that of the Potter Puppet Pals. That's right, puppets. So remember, be great in act, as you have been in thought. Here's your clip. Snape, Snape, Severus Snape, Dumbledore!
