I wish there was a land rather than a city called Sydney, it sounds like a nice land.
I am preparing myself to go forth into the first day of a public holiday long weekend.
I read a gorgeous gorgeous post by Robin McKinley on hanging out with Diana Wynne Jones and Neil Gaiman and it gave me zest for life. I just finished The Blue Sword this week, which is by RM, and is glorious. And I finished DWJ's latest story too - which is not yet out, but which I read via my work at HarperCollins. It was typical wonderful DWJ but far too short (as are all her stories - because I would like them to go on forever). I think actually that is why the Dalemark Quartet is one of my favourites, because it continues over four books.
