Blood oaths

Can't believe it has been a month since I last posted. I should not be surprised as am immense procrastinator, and where once I rushed in to turn on my computer I now fear to tread. Plus am obsessed with several TV shows at present: Supernatural - so hot, Cops - plain hilarious, Heroes - which I like but can't quite love, My Name is Earl - one of the most amusing shows ever, esp when combined with Cops - a dream come true! NCIS is worth watching for Michael Weatherly, who is currently in Australia and excessively sexy.

Anyway, in the last month my parents went to Kenya, then came back last weekend (thank goodness). I housesat irritably, my sister trashed the place como usual, I walked Dane twice a day in the last week - getting up at 6am. Went to el doctor, have neutrophenia, which effectively means less white blood cells and more being prone to infections etc. Kate and Catherine both had their last days. I had a fab and marvy time at Kate's farewell but then had to pick up mum and dad at 6:15am the next morn from the airport - and their plane was late! Catherine, Chren, Kate and I had a Last Dinner at Thaifoon in Kirribilli ... I met Mia for lunch at Surry Hills and we talked about Croatia, Matty and I booked various inter-European tickets ...

I turned 24 on the 24th of April. I am now in the mid-twenties of my life (aka the winter of ... ) and okay with it - mostly. Okay somewhat. A bit. I keep examining myself for lines, but must remember, am still cavity-free for now. Lots of proofreading at work and a wee bit of editing - loads of changes - people leaving, and coming in.

I spent my 24th birthday with my favourite friends at Cabana bar in St Leonards. I had one of the nicest birthdays I have had since my 21st in Barcelona or my 19th in Sydney. It was just wonderful. I had again that same feeling I had in Barca, that some of my best friends were with me, and that was all that mattered.

And on the nice frontier - Matty and I go to Germany in just five weeks! And Ireland in six weeks! And Croatia in seven weeks! Wicked yeah! And I have read two more Georgia Nicholson books and love them even more to bits.
