Nat and tea and biscuits

Had a rather filled up week - Tuesday I met up with Paige for a post-Europe catch up - it was very nice, she got me some fabulous french chocolate - I am trying to avoid opening it lest I wolf it down in one sitting. She also got me one of those ciao ciao t-shirts from Firenze Florence and a gorgeous leather bound blank book... We caught up on numerous things and it was v cool. On Wednesday I went to the noodle markets with some friends, the atmosphere in Hyde Park was lovely - red lanterns everywhere and bustling people - but the food was not so great. Thursday my work mates and I went to dinner for Kate's birthday followed by trivia - we came equal sixth and lost the tie-breaker :D but it was good fun and I had my long awaited glass of red vino.

Yesterday Matty and I drove out to the Featherdale Wildlife Park in Doonside and fed some wallabies, gaped at echidnas etc. It was lovely but far too hot - about 38 degrees C - I was utterly boiling and getting back into the car which had been sitting in the sun for 3 hours was immensely unpleasant :). We had Dave, Fiona, Heather, Julian and Evan over for Dave's photo showing session which was over six CDs and a number of hours but complimented by beer and chips. Dave, Matty and I then went down to Gilroys for a last drink and now it's Sunday :D. I am going to Liz's birthday drinks at the Rocks with Groove and Mia next, so have a good Sunday everyone.

And tomorrow is another bloody working day.
