Good day to all who may read this.
anyways. the date for gilford has be set. June 28th through the 29th. For those who went last year we will trying to do this in a similar manner. all who wish to car pool will meet at my house, load up into a few vehicles and depart.
PLEASE PACK AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE.
everyone should only need a change of clothes, swimwear, a towel, and some bedding if you wish. There should be more than enough in gilford. but should you feel obligated to bring your own do so.
Dress weather appropriate. we will be going right from york to the weirs beach area. we wont be stopping at gilford to drop off things along the way. Just like last year we will be going to the Weirs Beach Drive In Theater. It may get chilly so bring a sweater or long pants as neccessary. What movies will be screening are unknow as of now, but regardless the tickets are 8.50 for each person. that ticket pays for a double feature. I will post the movies showing when they become available.
I'd recomend everyone bring some cash along. a list of event i had in mind are as follows
-Drive in movie $8.50
-Go cart track $5.00 (roughly)
-Kellerhaus Ice Cream Buffet (price varies by size)
-Weirs beach boardwalk (arcades, midways, shopping, and food abound)
As I was mentioning earlier. all interested in carpooling may leave vehicles at my house for the night. we will go straight to the weirs beach area. wander around the pavillion, go to kellerhaus, race gokarts, whatever untill 9 o'clock. at 9 will be the drive in double feature. directly after the movie unless we decide to go for food (not much will be open after the movie) we will go to gilford for the night. next day will be spent at the beach in gilford until everyone wants to go home or a better idea is reached.
Everyone who can read this is invited. Spread the word to those who it may concern, make sure they see all this.
