Merry F***ing Christmas!
Kinda in the "bah hum bug" kinda mood. not diggin the whole christmas spirit, but this should still be a good weekend. Getting tired of hearing all the shit about use of the term "christmas" and "holiday" but no worries, i'm not about to go there.
first off. Hi, I'm Sam, and I'm not dead yet. Also I have not fallen into a bottomless abyss, never to return and see the light of day. I'm just as lazy as usual and not getting around to posting anything.
Next order of business. SARAH IS BACK! YAY!
I'll try to get around to recapping whats been going on lately later, but I'd rather post on how my week seems to be turning out.
Today, being thursday, I'm working from 8am until 1pm. This is to be followed by time with Sarah and her b-day party.
Tomorrow, friday, I will be working from 3pm until 11pm. Oh the joy.
Saturday, christmas eve, things get interesting. Me and my family are traveling to Rhode Island and back again in one day. Going to visit family (i'll attempt to ditch and visit at least one old friend) possibly go to a holiday church service (preferably at my old parish of St Gregory the Great's). And then home again hopefully before midnight.
Sunday, Christmas Day. This is where the fun begins. It starts out with me prying myself from my bed at roughly 7am, getting dressed, and going to work. Yes, I said it, I'm working Xmas day. My manager was in a bind, and I would get double pay so i volunteered. I went beyond volunteered, I sold my soul. I will be working from 8am until 12 noon. At which point I will go home, proceed to engage in Xmas festivities with my family. At 4pm I am to be at work again where I will stay and work until 11pm that night. I'm gonna get crazy rich, but still, I will miss being with my family.
Monday and Tuesday both consist of more working. Both days i work the shift from 3pm till 11pm. oh what fun it is to ride my ass off in a mini mart.
Luckily there is Wednesday which will consist of me and 5 other people equally (if not more) geeky then me sitting around a table and playing Dungeons and Dragons. On top of that i will be visited by my (not really an)uncle Jim.
Thursday night i'm going to see bob marley (the living one) with sarah and her family. After that, is up in the air. either way its eventful. just thinking about it makes me tired. time to retire.
