i slept like a fucking log last night.

I went to the city yesterday to get the last of my shit out of my old house. Which was mildly depressing, but i really didn't like living downstairs at that house too much and i definatly won't miss those fucking steps.

I hung out with travis, too. I'm glad we are kicking it more frequently again. We haven't hung out and got goofy in a while, and the goof was definatly present yesterday. Between "crunchy wrap supreme" and a new tattoo idea, i think my stomach muscles hurt from laughing too much. We went to short pump town center so i could cop a new men's fragrance. Hung out around the mall for a few minutes, watched dark clouds roll in super quick and then disappoint both of us by not storming as bad as it looked.

I tried getting the new charlie wilson CD at plan 9, and it was sold out. crap.

I talked to myke on the phone for like 30 minutes yesterday. Which is undoubtedly the longest phone coversation i've had with my boy for like 4 years. Their tour is picking up, they are having fun, and they will be close enough to drive and meet on myke's birthday next thursday. So if anyone is down to car pool to maryland with me, hit me up. I'm stoked. One of the best decisions ive made in the past 6 months is getting back in touch with those guys.

then i heard weezy was drumming for cast aside now. which is just strange.

then i hung out with my friend kevin, who i used to hit all day skate sessions with all the time, and that really made me fucking miss skateboarding. Ive been keeping myself busy enough to try not and dwell on the fact i don't skate anymore, but fuck i miss it. I'm thinking i may go ahead and schedule an X-ray next week just to get a grasp on what exactly is going on with my ankle. I crave 360 flips and fakie back heels. I fell off with my skate team over some halfway dumb shit, too.

Then i thought my evening was over and had made myself halfway comfortable in front of the computer, when stech hit me on the IM about going to see charlie and the chocolate factory, which i've had a pretty twisted desire to see, so off we went.

it was....

special. I'm still trying to figure out how i feel about it. The cinematography was fucking awesome. and you could see Tim Burton's flair on just about everything. It followed more closely to Dahl's book than the older movie with Gene Wilder in it, and his interpretation of the Oompa Loompa's was very entertaining, although i've had the Oompa Loompa's from the older movie ingrained in my mind since i was in elementary school...it was a bit to get used to.

and johnny depp definatly played willy wonka like an eccentric weirdo.

I was satisfied with my purchase although i was almost ready to pass out in the movie theater from lack of sleep. I think if i hadn't have been negative 3 degrees in the theater, i might have been kicked back snoring halfway through the movie.

then i snuck over and left someone something on their car since i was in the neighborhood, which is probably roasting and dying as i type this because it's fucking ill outside already.

i don't feel like going to work tomorrow.

i think ima crawl back in bed....
