My cat Indiana was acting really sick this weekend. We took her to the vet today and found out that she has advance liver disease. Basically we have to put her down. Its sooo hard, I have had her for so long and now we have to say good bye. Trying to maintain a calm isn't easy. I find that when I have a few minutes to myself, I just break down. Hubby will make the arrangements with the vet to have her put down. I don't want her to suffer. The vet said it would cost thousands of dollars to give her a 30% chance of making it through. We all agreed that this would be the best way to go. It hurts so much, but what else can I do. He refers to Indi as my familiar and soul mate. He feels I need to get another cat and that I wouldn't do well without one. I agree with him. its too hard for me to think of going through life without a cat. I have always had one and they have always been by my side through everything. jeez, i can't believe I have to let her go. I know its best for her. Good bye sweet little cat. I will always miss you!
