- I bought myself a new laptop since the screen on my old one blew and it was over four years old. It's shiny and pretty and is my new precious. Presccciousssss.
- Saw both Walk the Line and Harry Potter today, and I thought both were quite excellent. I can definitely see Joaquin getting nominated for an Oscar, and for once I watched a movie and didn't hate Reese Witherspoon. Wonders will never cease. Harry Potter was also really good, and probably my favorite of the films so far. It simply felt more cinematic than the rest of the films so far. And while there was too little of Snape, Ralph Fiennes does an excellent job as Voldemort to compensate.
- I've actually planned out my next week of lessons already. I'm as shocked as anyone quite frankly. I'm never this prepped.
- For those that I might not have told yet (I'm not so much good with publicity, I should hire a publicist), there's going to be an 80's party at my place this Friday at 10:00. Everyone is invited, but you have to come dressed in 80's attire. I'm plotting out my own look at this point still.
- Two words. DA BEARS!
- I think I'm coming down with some kind of throat bug. At first I thought I just tore up my throat by drinking too much on Friday, but my voice is still raspy and throat is constantly dry. Which isn't good when my job is to talk for extended periods of time. Lots of group work this week.
- I'm trying to think of more ways to procrastinate from my writing right now, (there is no greater love/hate relationship in this world than a writer and writing) but sadly I can't think of anything else. Back to work.
