whoa
well tonight we had this meeting thing for all the teen members of our church and i got to see some of my friends who went to a different school in town. i was talking with some of my friends and we got all bored so i started drawing in my sketchbook (because there was nothing else to do) and now I'm a little more comfortable drawing in front of other people. Like tonight everyone is always watching me and then I look up and they're all "oh you draw so good! are you thinking of being a cartoonist?!" and I'll just say "yeah thats one thing i'm thinking about doing." I like the attention and all and i'm not trying to brag or anything - i'm just trying to say that i'm almost getting more attention than i did on dA and I'm getting more comfortable with drawing around people.
another thing is i've attempted to come up with my own style type thing and it comes from a fairly-odd base and you can tell but yeah its a little different - and i'm still working on it. one of my friends suggested adding in a touch of anime to it which i could do like in the hair and stuff. after i get through the 'development' stage I'll post some it. anyway, i think i'm gonna draw some of tammi's evil mushrooms next lol.
so yes anyway today after the church meeting thing me and a few friends went to this blue bunny ice cream place and we talked and laughed as usual. i think about it and its weird because last year i never did anything with my friends outside of school until the end of the year. now we do something every weekend and pretty much whenever we can.
so anyway this week is Homecoming week at school so we have all those days where you dress up different...i can't wait until Friday because we only have 3 class periods, the parade, and then later on the game. Saturday is the dance but i think we've put the kibosh on going to that.
well anyway yeah i've got to go finish my homework...
