Besides, how can they possibly think that just because he doesn’t say much during interviews and on shows means that he’s a quiet, loner person? It’s hard to focus attention on yourself when you are in a second family with 13 brothers and 2 stepbrothers. Especially with people like Eeteuk, KangIn and Heechul.

It isn’t really that he’s weird. Okay, he probably is a LITTLE bit weird, but honestly, it’s more that he just has a slightly different sense of humor. It’s not even that different. The rest of the members laugh at it, hosts laugh at it, hell, you even laugh at it. He just likes making people laugh and making people happy.
What Eeteuk sometimes >>YELLS< “Get it through your damn heads!” Eeteuk will yell at his computer screen when he goes to look at some fansites. Good thing fans don’t know about this side of him.

Heechul’s Thoughts: Honestly, just think about it. So you’re going to call him weird for talking to his turtle? But… most people talk to their dogs don’t they? Actually, most pet owners talk to their pets. So it’s perfectly normal for Jongwoon to be talking to DdangKkoma. After all, she’s his pet. You know I agree. After all, I talk to Heebum all the time. So does Jongwoon, as Heebum has taken quite the liking to the man.
What Heechul sometimes >>COMPLAINS< So you all are calling me weird for talking to an animal, huh? HUH?

Sungmin’s Thoughts: Really now. I can only laugh to myself or out loud at these scenes that manage to pass by a lot of our fans. Hardcore ELFs or not. They don’t see how Jongwoon spends a lot of time with each and every one of us. They never see the small exchanges between him and Han Geng. And now they may never get to see it again. The small, kind glances. How alike they were and how the two would stay in the background watching out for us, whispers passing through their lips. They don’t see how Eunhyuk helps out his beloved hyung with whatever he can. How much Shindong actually looks after him. The married relationship Ryeowook and Yesung had up until Ryeowook moved to the other dorm. Now it’s ZhouMi and hyung who are close. For Christ’s (Sorry Siwon) sake! ZhouMi calls Jongwoon hyung’s mother, “mom”. Don’t you tell me he isn’t close to any of the other members. He is close to all of us.

I never really understood why he took all the teasing until the day I felt I took it to far. I walked up to him and said, “Hyung, forgive me for always teasing you.” In return, he smiled. Told me, “Youngwoon, we are you asking me for forgiveness. We are family and I don’t mind.” He explained to me, opening my eyes. He doesn’t mind because he loves us all very much. He’s happy to have some of our attention. He understands that this is how we show our affection. Jongwoon hyung, I love you.

Then I think again and realize that, although sometimes that’s him, normally he’s a really playful guy who should be maknae instead of Kyuhyun. Not the point. The point is, hyung is the one I can go to for GOOD advice. He’s the one who people can go to if they need to spill their hearts out. Or sometimes, like with our dear Henli, the one who can hold us close and comfort us. I didn’t mean to be standing outside of Henry’s door. I had wanted to ask him to come practice dancing with me and Eunhyuk. But I guess that can wait. And don’t call me weird for hanging out here and simply watching the two of them. It’s really calming to be around Jongwoon hyung.

Han Geng’s Thoughts: I remember back when we were together. When he would always do something silly on TV and then he would come back and we would spend time together. I like it how I know something the fans didn’t. And that was that this man known for his fail was really one of the main backbone holding this group up. Him, Eeteuk and me. I like it how I have this friendship with Jongwoon which the fans over look, fail to see. Because it reminds me that I know just how much of a success our lead singer is. After all, if he was all fail and no win, he wouldn’t be the lead singer of such a popular group. I miss those late night conversations we used to have. How we would work together to patch up our faults, all the while, holding up the rest of the group. Whenever he does fail, he gets back up and turns it into a win. Honestly. One could never simply define Jongwoon as one word. It just not fit him, as fail does not. He is not fail, he is my friend and he is amazing.

Shindong’s Thoughts: He works so hard. Well, I mean, all of us do, but Jongwoon hyung, he really tries hard. He is always pushing himself, practicing. Where he gets all that energy from, I don’t know, but it’s great having him with us. When we are all sitting down, taking a break, he is still standing, practicing his dance part. Although he certainly is not the best, watching him dance is like a gift. Because he can dance. Yes, he does a lot of weird dancing on TV but he can dance. And when he seriously is dancing, it just gives you the want to dance. To move your body. And, oops, got to continue filming. Point is, Jongwoon hyung, can dance, it’s just sometimes, he decides to have fun and let loose.

I’m glad for that because I always knew he could do better then what he WAS doing before.

Sheesh, I wish my fans were like his. By that I mean not so much that it drives me insane but still a lot. Jongwoon hyung is lucky.

Siwon’s Thoughts: We were watching a TV program that we were on. Now it’s just me watching while we wait for the others to arrive because we all agreed to go out to eat together. It’s just that me and Jongwoon hyung finished our schedules first so that’s why we are waiting here at the moment. Hhm? Ah yes, I remember this episode. We started talking about the time after we first debuted. Yes, Jongwoon hyung did start talking about that one time he cried on radio. He didn’t want the most fans, he had simply wanted fans. It something I admire him for. He’s never jealous. He is willing to have less than the rest of us and not complain. To be in a 13 member group at that time, to actually only want some fans, to not start anything over the topic, you’re strong hyung. Strong.

An all around artist, Jongwoon hyung has talent and will. That’s why he’s grown. He can sing, act, dance, host. He’s everywhere, and you know what? I’m glad for that because I always knew he could do better then what he WAS doing before.

Ryeowook’s Thoughts: Aw, so cute. Seriously, it’s so adorable seeing those two laugh over the pics they’ve taken together. You see, normally Kyuhyun doesn’t like to take pictures, but he really can’t deny his hyung. Well, this certain hyun. Jongwoon hyung just has that affect on our dear maknae. After all, everyone, meaning the group members and our close friends in SM, all know that the pictures aren’t to get attention. Honestly, it’s for the sake of keeping memories. He love have pictures to look back on. To coo, laugh and cry over, because to him, memories will always be with you. He knows that if he screws up, he screws up. He doesn’t whine or cry, he gets right back up and keeps on running. That’s why he loves pictures. They record down the past.

Dear Fans,
I think it’s time I clear something up. You see, today I had the day off. Yes, I worked out, ate, caught up on sleep, took a shower, the usual stuff I would do on my day off. But you see, I decided to use the computer after drinking a nice cup of tea (Yum tea :D ) and I was reading some comments from fans. Dear all, I am glad to know that I make you smile. I’m glad to know that I have fans. But let me tell you this. I, am not Yesung. But nor am I Jongwoon. I am me. I am the person that is both Yesung and Jongwoon because they are both a part of me. I don’t always do the stupid things I do on TV. After all, it is just TV. I don’t always put on a strong face. I am human. I do cry. I want. I am selfish. I care. I love. I am, ME. Please remember this when you talk about me. I am Yesung and Jongwoon. Our Leader hyung is Eeteuk and Jungsu. Kangin is KangIn is KangIn and Youngwoon. Jongwoon smiled to himself as he shut his laptop. Quietly, he got up and padded outside to the kitchen, passing by his band brothers who were all busy watching some sports match on the TV. In the kitchen he poured himself some more tea, despite his heart already glowing with warmth.
“Hyung?” There stood Henry. In his hands, sheet music and letters.
“Come on, let’s go finish that song. You think of a title for it yet?” Putting his arm around the other, they went to Jongwoon’s room, sitting on his bed together.
“Yep. It’s called Hidden Secrets. Because it’s just like you. Full of secrets that only we know.”
