Costa Rica got nuttin' on me
Not like that title really relates to this entry but it was waht came to me. Anyways, i spoke with my mother today. She said that i can go back to Costa Rica this summer! How cool is that! She said that i can go for august, about a month! I am so excited. but now here comes the fun part, A) money and B) a place to stay. While I was in Costa Rica both my host family and my friends said that I could stay with them again. I desided to ask my friends if i could take them up on their offer. The only thing i am fearing is that they are kind of on the poor end and there's already a lot of people liveing with them, they have a huge family. But after thinking about it, i would rather stay with them than with my host family, for many reasons. But think of how cool and culturly informative it would be to stay with a big 'poorish' family. I feel that that would be a life changing experence. Plus, they run a soda, it is a local eating place, small, does basic foods;s salads, soups, tocos, I think that I could work there and help out. I did it this summer, it was cool. I think that that would really help my spanish becuase Lucia only speaks Spanish and i would be talking to all of the custermers that come it.
Now for part A) the money. I kind of spent all my money on last trip to Costa Rica but i do still have 200 left. I think that I could save up and have 400 by the end of school. Then i will have two months, June and July, to work my 'already too small' ass off. The 400 ish that i'll already have should cover air fair and them the June/July workfest should cover living expences. If I do work a the Soda, that will cover free lunch and Dinner. So really I am trying to do this trip on only 1000 dollars. I will work in the taco and of course visit the beaches and thats it. Maybe i could spend some time helping my old host mother with her kindergarten class.
I just can;t wait to get back to Costa Rica. I told mom how hard it was for me to leave that friends i made and she said I should go back! how cool is that
