Today I had a brilliant plan to get quarters.

I put a dollar bill in the soda machine at work, then hit the coin return button. I expected 4 quarters.

It proceeded to shoot out 20 nickels.

The bank and a $10 bill don't cut it for getting quarters?

Me, I end up with a plethora of them because I go to a coffee shop that charges $2.16 for a large. So if I bring $3 every day, I get plenty of change in quarters. Which I actually don't need, as I have a washer and dryer at home.

The nickels were probably the result of a whole lot of people with the same brilliant idea to get quarters from the soda machine. ;)
