Today, she happens to pass him while he's sweeping the debris from the window. With a wide smile, she heads over.
"Hello, Mr Markus. Busy day today, huh?"

He points across the hall at two other taped up windows. It's been quite a day.

"Well, seems someone was busy here before you. I'm not sure why, though - I really doubt the windows did anything to whoever it was who broke them."

Her expression brightens considerably as he hands her the cardboard and markers. Using the nearby wall for balance, the cardboard is soon covered in drawings of her favourite thing: cuttlefish. Quite detailed sketches too, for something that'll only be around for a little while, but that's no reason to do a sloppy job, right?

Cheerful. The cuttlefish don't look half bad. He gives her a thumbs up.

"I'm glad you like it. Hopefully the other students will as well." Though to her mind, who couldn't like a picture of some cuttlefish?

Almost time to get to class.
Reply
"You're right, I should probably go. Good luck with the windows."
And she's off, her usual ready spring in her step as she makes her way to her next class.
