Happy Merry Christmas Day!
So in 4 days, I'll be on my way home to Canada for a whole month. To be completely honest with you, I'm not that excited. Now I'm not saying that I'm dreading it but I haven't really given it that much thought. These last two weeks have had alot of work and alot of fun. Report cards and lesson plans for a month have kept me busy not to mention Kinsey coming back into town, I have had much time for anything really.Xmas eve we had a school party with all the students and their parents. My kids kicked ass with their rendition of Let it Be. Xmas was fun, Turkey dinner and apple pie was a nice change from the rice and noodles that I'm use to. Corey came back into town and most of our time together was spent pissing off our girlfriends and getting drunk. On boxing day, Kinsey and I went the a huge bath house and spoiled ourselves with messages and wine. Tonight my boss is putting on some kind of magic show (seriously, he was famous back in the day) and then we're all gonna go back to my place for the count down and get hammered. Hopefully I'll get around to packing and buying some Xmas presents for my family before I leave but the way things have been going, it'll close one. In any case, the 2005 for me is in its final hours and when I think about it, its been a strange and amazing year. But its all over now, and another year goes down in the history books. It's too easy to say "I'm glad I was here" because glad doesn't really sum it up. More like grateful to my boss for hiring me and honored to meet some of the most interesting / fucked up / intelligent people that I know call my friends.
