[Background]
Chrome's wiki page

Born on December fifth Chrome was named Nagi by her parents. Wile her early childhood remains mostly unknown other then the fact that her parents didn't really care much for her. It's thought that because of this lack of parental care Nagi became so introverted, and shy towards others. This behavior continued and eventually she came to live a completely isolated life. At age thirteen she became involved in a car accident while trying to save neighborhood cat that she liked. As a result she lost her right eye, and some of her internal organs. Her life could be saved if someone with the same blood type as hers transfered theirs to her. Nagi heard her mother refuse to sacrifice her own organs to save her daughter, and Nagi actually felt relived that she was going to die. It was then that she heard a voice that responded to her, but didn't belong to her mother or her step-father. In what seemed to be a dream she saw a young man who belonged to the voice, and said that he and she may be alike.

The young man, Rokudo Mukuro, was the first to say that he needed her. So in exchange for giving her a new life, Nagi agreed to help him. From that day on she became Chrome Dokuro. Once Chrome was cleared to leave the hospital she actually ran away from home to meet Mukuro's two companions. It was actually Ken who cut her hair short not very long before the mist ring battle. It's at the ring battle where she first meets Tsuna and the rest of the guardians. When Gokudera raises a fuss about her being the mist guardian she actually tells Tsuna that if he doesn't want her she will listen and not fight in the mist battle. Much to her surprise, and pleasure Tsuna says that she's the one who should fight. As thanks she gives him a kiss on the cheek, claiming that it's a greeting even everyone raises a fuss. It's during the Mist Ring battle where she first actually switches places with Mukuro.

Though she's accepted into the group of guardians during the ring battle Chrome doesn't open up to them, or really act as part of the group until the trip to the future. She appears alone at Kokuyo Health Land with her Vongola ring frozen over, and sealed. After being there for only a short time she's found by Glo Xinia and fights him. With the help of TYL!Mukuro she was able to thaw out her ring for the fight, and use it's power to defeat Glo Xinia. Afterwards Ryohei found her unconcious and brought her back to the Vongola underground base. She was placed in one of the medical rooms so her condition could be monitored as she remained unconscious,. It wasn't very long after being brought to the base that her illusionary organs started to fail because of Mukuro's defeat by Byakuran. With some encouragement from Hibari Chrome was able to use the power of the Vongola mist ring to make partial organs for her self so she could survive, even if it was just barely. Eventually she was able to recover enough that she went to help with the Millefore base invasion.

It was in the time after the base invasion, and before the Choice battle that she started opening up to the others in the Vongola. First to I-pin, and then slowly to Haru, and Kyoko. She began training to master her Illusions with the virtual training challenge created by Mammon, as well improve her battle abilities with Bianchi and I-pin. She had decided she wanted to be strong to help Tsuna, and the others as well. Chrome was not chosen to participate in the Choice battle and watched with the rest of the Vongola in the viewing area, however as they ran from the real Funeral Wreaths she used Mukurou's cambio forma to assist Tsuna in his fight against Torikabuto. During the final battle Chrome delivered the Vongola Mist Box to Mukuro, only to faint shortly after meeting him for the first time in person. After the battle is over, before they go home Chrome was warned by M.M. that Mukuro is only using her. Chrome replied to the other girl quite simply, that she didn't mind.

It wasn't very long after she returned back home to the past when Chrome got the feeling she was being followed, and started getting odd food deliveries. Eventually she was approached by a young man who introduced himself as Julie Katou, who also asked her to go on a date, and then run away with him. Chrome rejected his offer, and just left him standing there. Because Yamamoto was attacked and in critical condition he couldn't attend Tsuna's inheritance ceremony, and so to keep the other families from knowing that Yamamoto was missing Chrome created an illusion of the rain guardian. When the Simon family attacked at the ceremony Chrome was knocked unconscious, and kidnapped. Her ring, like the others, was broken, and left behind at the place where the ceremony was held. When Chrome was conscious again she found herself in a strange room with Julie Katou. He explained and demonstrated how he was the one keeping Chrome's organs maintained, and that he had a special barrier around the island up keeping Mukuro, and his illusions out. Once again Julie offers himself as a replacement for Mukuro, and when Chrome refuses he reveals himself to be the one who is responsible for the entire battle between the Simon and Vongola, as well as his identity as Daemon Spade. Daemon requests that Chrome allow him to use her body of her own will, when she refuses for a third time he forcefully takes control of her mind. From then on she stays with Daemon, even fighting for him after Daemon reveals himself to Tsuna and company, and Yamamoto starts a fight with him. This at this time when Yamamoto tosses her the ore for the Vongola Mist Gear, and says they they will always be waiting for her.

When Chrome regains control of her mind she's practically told that she's being used as bait to lure Mukuro out. Daemon removes the barrier around the island, and he also removes the illusionary organs that he had put in place to keep Chrome alive. Despite her pleas to Mukuro for him not to come, and her attempt to keep him form coming, she soon blacks out, and Mukuro takes her place. When Chrome woke up she asked where Mukuro was, and was glad to learn that he had won the fight. However another problem is quickly discovered when Mukuro talks through the Vongola Mist owl, something happened to his body in Vindice prison and he was unable to return. When Julie wakes up Chrome assures Tsuna and Gokudera that Daemon is no longer inside the Simon guardian, and with this Mukuro comes to the conclusion that Daemon has taken over his body in the prison surprising everyone. During the fight with Daemon at first Chrome tried to not let the fight start, because even though Mukuro wasn't in his body, it was still Mukuro's body at stake. Still using the mist owl as his vassle Mukuro quickly corrected this train of thought of hers, telling her that was the least of their problems. When Daemon was pulling some of the group into his illusionary world Chrome was saved by Yamamoto. Though she tried to help Tsuna and Enma fight she was stopped by Daemon's threat to kill her, Reborn, and the weakened Mukuro. She was able to find ways to help though, by protecting Enma from an attack that Tsuna used to deal what should have been a final blow to Daemon.

After Daemon was defeated by Tsunayoshi Chrome returned to Kokuyo Land with Mukuro. However it wasn't long before Chrome was seemingly abandoned by Mukuro and the others from the Kokuyo Gang. Waking up one morning to find a note that simply said "get out". However it was Mukuro that transfered Chrome to Namimori Middle School, and also gave Reborn money for her living expenses.

[Personality]

Chrome can be described very simply. She's a very shy girl, and has a fragile look and aura. It's this apparent fragility that usually make people wither hate her on sight, or want to help her.

She's generally a quiet girl not really speaking up, or speaking out unless she feels it's important and she has to. That means Chrome is easily looked over so sometimes it seems like she isn't even there. When she speaks her voice is usually soft, sometimes making her hard to hear in crowded, and loud places. For the most part Chrome keeps to herself. She doesn't really talk to strangers unless she has to, and will even keep a distance from those who want to be her friends. She doesn't usually ask other people for help, and even if people offer to help she won't always accept their help. For most of her life she has been completely anti-social, and is only now starting to coming out of it.

It's not impossible to become her friend, though it will take time and much patience. Since Chrome doesn't have very many friends she really does treasure and depend on the ones that she has in Tsuna's family, and in Mukuro's Kokuyo Gang. She believes rather strongly in them, and wants to become stronger to help them out. Though it's this belief in those two groups of people that will lead her to jump into situations where she might be able to do something for them with out thinking things through completely. In many ways Chrome is very dependent on the two previously mentioned groups of people. Mukuro is her savior, and the first person to treat her kindly. She would gladly do anything he asks her, even though she seems to know he is only using her. Ken and Chikusa were her first friends, and comrades. Tsuna was the first person who believed in her. Haru, Kyoko, and I-pin were her first female friends, and the ones who are drawing her further form her anti-social self.

Chrome is rather used to being called names and mildly insulted in some way shape or form. She won't usually react beyond bowing her head, or maybe mumbling an apology. Though she isn't one who usually offends other people on purpose herself. Because of her family and how she was raised Chrome is not really used to be treated kindly, and it actually confuses her when people do treat her with kindness. A lot of the time at first Chrome will up away form the person because she's confused and doesn't know how to react. However during her stay in the future Chrome started to accept that Tsuna, the guardians, and all the others with him did really care for her. With that acceptance Chrome has been working on opening up to them, and being more useful. She also wasn't usually praised for things. So when she is she'll sometimes get embarrassed and stop talking. Though she will be happy about praise she gets once over her initial surprise. One thing that Chrome doesn't seem to have is a temper, if she does have one it's not something that she lets people see.

It should be noted that due to the recent events in the manga Chrome is in a very fragile state, and a bit overwhelmed by the changes taking place in her life. At this point one of two things can happen to her. She can either become a stronger more independent person, or she could revert back to her old anti-social self.

Abilities, Weapons, and Techniques

[Other important stuff]
At the point this application was submitted I'm not really sure who has the Mist Gear between Mukuro and Chrome. Since it was last shown on Chrome at the end of the Simon Arc I'll be playing as if she is wearing the Mist Gear.

It's important to note that a good deal of Chrome's organs are illusions. When Chrome was first introduced it was said that Mukuro was the one who created the illusionary organs for her. However the events of the future arc lead me to believe that Chrome now keeps up her own illusionary organs for the most part, and I will be playing her under that assumption.

[Third Person]

Chrome smoothed her hands over her skirt nervously before she stepped out of the relative safety of the store she had been shopping in, and out onto the crowded streets of Somni. She thought she was doing well before being on her own since it had been awhile since she had no one to depend on accept for herself. That was when she was still Nagi, but even then she had other people who did shopping for things like food, and cooking meals. Here in his dream world Chrome was completely on her own.

As she walked down the street she held her bags close, and set out at a determined pace for her apartment. She mentally corrected her thoughts about being alone. The girl was pretty sure if she asked for help from the others that were there, like Yamamoto, or Dino, they would assist her. She didn't want to though, Chrome was getting tired of being taken care of when it never seemed to last very long. Mukuro had taken care of her for awhile, as did Ken and Chikusa in their own way, and they left her. Chrome was staying with Kyoko and Haru as they took care of her when she wound up here alone, and Tsuna was always looking after her in his own way.

Someone bumped into the girl on her blind side making her squeak, and drop her bags as she stumbled, "S-Sorry!" She exclaimed. The person that had bumped into her looked down t her with obvious surprise, he hadn't known she was there until they ran into her. "You should be more careful." The stranger said slowly his voice still holding traces of surprise at the fact that she was there. Chrome blinked up at him with her good eye confused, hadn't this person bumped into her?She opened her mouth to ask it, but then closed it and looked down at the bags at her feet. She bent a little to pick them up sure some of the things were squished now. Though thankfully everything remained in the bags. "I'm sorry..." She repeated as she bowed slightly and hurried off. Before she worried more about being taken care of, and taking care of herself Chrome had to get home where she wouldn't be walked into by strangers twice her size.

[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Well she's a kinda new muse, and I'd really like to play her somewhere to hopefully grasp her voice more.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] Be nice to other players, because no one really likes trolls.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?]
[Any questions?] Nope
