[Have a Kisame, kneeling at the edge of a stream and washing laundry; it's one tedious as hell job to do by hand, which might explain why his communicator is on and propped up nearby so he can talk without his hands. He's not exactly in World's End--the place is actually rather pretty and idyllic looking, though certainly without much by way of amenities, a verdant slope with a small, if primitive, house in the distance.]
Never seen your name on the network before.... You new around here?
((OOC: Sorry, ATBF!Kisame never ended up going anywhere else~ ♥))
[Kisame offers the screen a confused look, leaning over to study Aaron more closely; there's no hint of recognition in his expression, only confusion and some uncertainty.]
[Kisame gives him a bewildered look, but frowns a little, scratching his chin with a dripping, soapy hand. He comes to a conclusion soon enough, offering an awkwardly apologetic smile. Forgetting something important is always hard to admit.]
Sorry, Aaron-san.... Itachi's told me about the amnesia, but we're not sure how to fix it, or what messing with it might do to make things worse. I probably just don't remember you, or World's End, or..... anything like that.
But uh, hopefully your Hit--communicators start working properly again soon, huh? [He makes an effort to grin reassuringly; after all, a friend is a friend, even if he doesn't remember them.]
[He's sure he'd miss you too, if he knew who you were. ♥ Poor wolf boy....]
No, no, it's fine.... Chores around here have to be done sometime, after all, and it's Valeria's turn to cook dinner tonight.
[His own voice softens a little, subdued; he's not sure how Aaron knows Itachi, but he's just about positive that the news will be a shock to anyone.]
Itachi's here--he's safe, he's about as happy as he can be, I guess, so there's no need to worry about any of that.... He's.... changed, though. The gods--I don't know how long it'll last for, there's never any way to tell. He's eight years old right now, mind and body. We're all just hoping it'll wear off on its own, eventually.
Yeah, Valeria's my--uh, a friend of mine. She came to live with us--me and Itachi--a little while ago.
[Kisame smiles sheepishly, hastily cutting himself off and backtracking before he can say anything untoward. He can't say "my wife" anymore--it just isn't true, and he knows it never was. Not really, however much he'd like it to have been, however natural it had felt to say it. The gods meddling with them did not reality make....]
Itachi's been doing okay, though. We've all been pitching in to take care of him; the two of us, Sasuke, and even L's been helping some.

Yeah, that's me. Have we met before, kiddo?

[Aw, he looks sad there for a moment, before covering it with a faint grin.]
That's okay. I've...met a version of you before. Here in World's End. Our communicators are going haywire right now, sorry you're caught up in it!

I...really hope I didn't bother you or anything, Kisame. Is...is Itachi with you?

Valeria? That name sounds really familiar...
Ah...
[Pause there, as he mulls over Kisame's words, face showing his confusion for a moment before softening at the idea of a child Itachi.]
I'm sure he's in really good hands until it wears off.
