[And true to form, the door would be unlocked and ready, Aaron waiting on the bottom floor for Harry to arrive.]

[Harry had knocked anyways, to let Aaron know he was there, and stepped through the door. He could hear all little squeaks that he assumed a new-born puppy would make. Harry grinned and walked in.]

[He glanced up from where he was at Freki's nest, flashing Harry a small grin.]

Hey...you made it. How are you?

[Something about seeing Aaron was very comforting. He looked over the very pretty boy's form as he walked into the room, happy that he looked alright despite everything that had happened. Harry looked over Aaron's shoulder at the nest.]

I'm doing alright. A couple of my friends have come to World's End, which I'm not really sure is such a good thing all considering... but it's easier to handle this place for sure. And you?

[And he was gesturing for him to take a seat, settling himself down comfortably, lifting one of the pups into his lap. Harry was always someone he could relax around; it was good to see him again and his expression easily said as much.]

Well, I'm glad you're friends are here for you, Harry...Ron and...someone else? Could I meet them sometime?

[Harry did as he was told and was by Aaron's side. Now he had a much better view of the pups, and his heart pumped in excitement.]

You'd like her. Her name is Hermione... very intelligent, one of my best friends.

[He sat himself down and leaned towards the pups.]

Can I pet them?

Hermione? That's really pretty!

[At the request he gestured to the cubs still resting comfortably in the nest, eying the pair with a lazy curiosity. The one he was holding,t he only white one, whimpered softly, burrowing for warmth with a sleepy yawn.]

Definitely. Pretty sure you can just pick one up, I don't think Freki will mind

[Harry was quite unsure if he'd be able to, but the moment he turned to the pups one of them jumped right at him. Before he could blink, he had a lapful of a reddish brown pup who eagerly pawed at his shirt.

Harry's heart melted.]

Hey there, boy!

[He pet the little pup, who eagerly nuzzled into his hands.]

[Aaron's expression brightened then, glancing slyly to Harry for a moment as he cuddled the white bundle in his own arms.]

Looks like you've got a companion!

[He murmured with a soft chuckle.]

[Harry was smiling, but turned to Aaron in slight confusion.]

Huh? What do you mean?

[Little pup was licking his hand curiously.]

The pups tend to bond with someone...like how Dreizehn is my shadow, you know? We bonded when he was a puppy...

[He nodded his head to the pup in Harry's arms, grinning.]

Kind of like that.

[He looked down at the pup, heart speeding up anxiously.]

So wait- the pup is mine now?

[Said pup just looked up at him with a smile in his eyes.]

I think so. He looks pretty attached to you. They sort of...choose us more than the other way around sometimes.

[He chuckled fondly, glancing up to Harry.]

Should be just about done weaning; we should get them used to real food as it is since winter is coming...
