It's suddenly gotten a lot scarier more tense around here, hasn't it? Humans, hunters, demons, people in general...there was a balance of peace...wasn't there? I wish dad were still here but that would only make it worse, probably...

Sasuke...thanks for going fishing with me last night. I had fun It was just like old times again...sorta

How come they just come in swinging, Avari?

It's the way they always do it. They threaten. They invade. They murder. It's what humans do. Most of them, anyway. Some of them rise above it, but most of them just throw their weight around.

But where I come from people tended to interact...decently well with non humans. Or maybe it's just where I was and present company, you know?

It's because they're scared, Aaron. The ones that live around you for a while learn not to be so wussy about it.

Yeah...

Sasuke and Itachi are teaching me self-defense again.

Indeed. This could become a problem. It works in our favour though that they are new and most likely do not know who all the demons or the like are.

((By definition, Wesker isn't human, he's a B.O.W. I can delete this if that doesn't qualify?))

But what if they start hunting without discrimination, Mr Wesker? I mean, there was some sort of balance before. I get that demons and whatnot are bad where they come from but...

[[ooc: Wesker totally counts!]]

We outnumber them, Aaron. I can hold off the entire city from my tunnels if I need to. Should a refuge be needed, it will serve.

In the end, this is a temporary upset. It will calm within a few days as all things do. When I kidnap someone, the entire place gets into an uproar for a week or so, but it eventually calms.

Are they scared of us because we outnumber them...or just because we're different? That's what it boils down to, I think. You're really strong and fast, for instance, right?

...Er...that...yeah. Eventually calms.

A mixture of both, I imagine. They see themselves as the lone hero, the single light shining in the darkness. It is the manner of those who must be right. Consider, Aaron, that people on my world do not believe in werewolves except in myths. Were they to see you, especially around the Black Forest in Germany, they would most likely kill you out of fear. It would not be because you were a threat or that they felt it a mission, but from simple stupidity mixed with fear. It is human nature to destroy or attempt to control that which they do not understand.

That is my point there. It will settle. A few deaths may happen, but it will smooth over.

Yeah...I've been there once, the people in that area are really superstitious. In my world...well, werewolf or not I wouldn't go home and visit the Black Forest for anything.

But then again in my world there's no such thing as the T-virus either, so people would be scared of you, right?

It's pointless to say I wish there wasn't so much fighting, because I know there will be.

Our local German is proof of that. Ever notice how he reacts to vampires? I imagine he grew up in that area. I believe him meeting you before he knew you were a werewolf is why he doesn't fear you so deeply.

They would in time, I believe. Disease is a basic fear of humans.

There always is. Change often comes on the heels of destruction.

I'm German too, but they don't scare me unless...they're really cruel or something. But then again that probably has a lot to do with how I was introduced to them, also.

Really?

Yeah. You're right about that, Mr. Wesker.
